HALTSEAL / Assessment Brief
One payment exception.
A clear next decision.
A paid review of one unresolved payment and its replacement paths, or one planned fallback change. Start with the payment owner and a non-confidential description.
The decision
What could still pay, what evidence supports the next action, and who owns the decision?
The scope
One workflow, its original and replacement paths, and the records your team is permitted to share. Included paths, exclusions and review limits are agreed in writing.
What you receive
A linked event timeline and path map; evidence and gaps; current controls and their limits; a one-page next-action summary with owners and conditions.
Your team's participation
A payment owner can start the conversation. Document review uses agreed, permitted records. Engineering participation, test access and readiness preparation are needed only for separately scoped technical testing.
Cost and delivery control
Before paid work, agree scope, deliverables, fee, effort cap, delivery date, access and retention. Preparation and testing are quoted separately, with a stop condition and deliverables if preparation ends. Additional work requires agreement.
The next decision
Keep the existing control, define a repair or restriction, or obtain missing evidence. Technical testing, Shadow and selective enforcement are separate decisions, subject to their own readiness and approval conditions.
